Founded in 1992 by CEO Mr. Gary Ho, the Buddhist Compassion Relief Tzu Chi Foundation, Canada, commonly known as Tzu Chi Canada, was inspired by Dharma Master Cheng Yen to initiate Tzu Chi’s charitable endeavors across Canada.

For the past 22 years, Tzu Chi Foundation Canada volunteers have embodied Buddhist principles by executing 81 unique charitable and humanitarian projects, demonstrating their unwavering commitment to service.

In the year 2013, Tzu Chi launched the initiative "Blue Sky Project" to support the development of children in need, adhering to the belief that "every child deserves a chance" and consistently providing opportunities for underprivileged students.

Tzu Chi volunteers throughout Canada, embracing their role as "green ambassadors," have dedicated themselves to environmental protection by engaging in recycling, cleanup efforts, promoting eco-friendly initiatives.
